Twin Pines Minerals, LLC, is pleased to announce that its project is back on track. In a settlement agreement finalized today, the United States Army Corps of Engineers (the “Corps”) has agreed to reinstate the two “approved jurisdictional determinations” that it withdrew in June.

(February 4, 2020) – Twin Pines Minerals, an industry leading minerals and mining company, today announced the results of geologic and hydrogeologic studies to determine the viability of its plan to mine titanium and zirconium from the layers of sand and soil on its Charlton County property.
We, the members of the Charlton County Development Authority, wish to reiterate our support for the mining project proposed by Twin Pines Minerals. We have considered the economic and environmental aspects of the plan very carefully and believe it is going to be a project of which we can all be proud and from which we will all benefit.
Folkston, Ga. (September 13, 2019) – Twin Pines Minerals (TPM) is investing $300 million in Charlton County for a titanium and zirconium mining project that will provide a tremendous economic boost for the local community. Aside from nearly doubling the county’s annual tax revenues, the project will create approximately 400 full-time, good-paying, long-term employment opportunities.
